Journal and Website Review Process

Since 1 January, 1999 the editor(s) have chosen one, two or three reviewers as appropriate who are blinded as to the authorship of the manuscript. Reviewers remain anonymous.

There is an appeals procedure available to authors whose manuscript is rejected, details of which are available from the Editorial Manager.

Time to Publication

The average time from final acceptance of the manuscript to publication is 13 weeks. The Editor tries to keep the interval between receipt of a manuscript to the time of decision on acceptance or rejection to four weeks.

Copy Editing and Proofs

Proof editing is undertaken by the Technical Editor; Production Editor; the Editor and by Authors.
